The most commonly used fluorine plastic series are PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), FEP (all gas ethylene propylene copolymer), PFA (copolymer of all gas propyl all gas vinyl ether and polytetrafluoroethylene) and ETFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer) and so on. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) also known as teaeron- - -Teflon, commonly known as "plastic king". It is a polymer compound made of tetrafluoroethylene, with excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, sealing, high lubrication non-adhesion, electrical insulation and good aging endurance.

High temperature resistance-operating temperature up to 250℃℃.

Low temperature resistance-good mechanical toughness; elongation of 5% even when the temperature drops to-196℃.

Corrosion resistant- to a majority of chemicals and solvents, showing inert, resistant to strong acid and alkali, water and various organic solvents.

Climate resistance-has the best aging life in plastics.

High lubrication is the lowest coefficient of friction in solid materials.

Non-adhesion one is the smallest surface tension in solid materials and does not adhere to any material. Non-toxic- -with physiological inertia, as artificial blood vessels and viscera long-term implantation in the body without adverse reaction. Used as engineering plastics, can be made of PTFE tubes, rod, belt, plate, film, etc. Generally used in high performance requirements of corrosion resistance of pipelines, containers, Pumps, valves and radar production, high-frequency communication equipment, radio equipment, etc.

How to store polytetrafluoroethylene tubing, what are the precautions.

In general, it should be stored in a clean and dry environment. For warehouse space, we are concerned about the temperature and humidity issues. Because PTFE tubes themselves have an excellent temperature range, they can be used at temperatures from -200°C to +260°C (-328°F to +500°F). Save. For actual ambient conditions, room temperature (about 20°C or 68°F) is usually best.

As for storage humidity requirements, since PTFE is very waterproof, humidity is usually not an issue. However, in order to maintain the best mechanical properties, it is best to store in a low humidity environment. Compared with temperature and humidity, the prevention of PTFE tube pressure should be considered. PTFE is not easily deformed due to its high melting point and strong carbon-fluorine bond. Under normal storage conditions, it can resist most forms of physical pressure. However, it also runs the risk of deformation if subjected to extreme pressure or heat beyond its operating range.
