8. How to Install a Hammer
In order to physically install hammer you will need either pin and bush kit, specific side plate mounts or universal or specific head bracket or a combination.
If your carrier is not already plumbed, you will require a plumbing kit. Not all hammers work in the same way internally. Every model and brand has its own specific requirements. Each hammer generally requires its own installation techniques in order to run the hammer correctly without causing long term damage to the hammer. Your plumbing kit may be able to also run other hammers with minor adjustments.
