System Overview



 



MVR evaporator are mainly applied for lithium carbonate/lithium sulfate/ lithium hydroxide solution evaporation and crystallization. Mechanical vapor recompression evaporator (also named as MVR evaporator) is a more efficient, energy-saving and environmentally friendly evaporation technology compared to the traditional multi -effect evaporation system.



 



Its working principle is that the secondary steam generated by the MVR evaporator itself is compressed to a certain pressure by a mechanical thermal compressor (constituting a blower), so that the temperature of the steam also increases (currently the most stable temperature rise of steam compressor is 8~20℃), the compressed steam is returned to the MVR evaporator for continued heating as a heat source. It is repeated continuously to maintain the continuity of the evaporation process. The supplementary water and concentrated liquid discharged from the system transfer their energy to the incoming liquid through the heat exchanger. This reduces the consumption of external fresh steam by the evaporator, and the fresh steam is only used to supplement the heat loss and supplement the thermal evaporation of the incoming and outgoing materials.



 



The advantages of MVR evaporator are energy saving and environmental protection: only electricity is needed , the secondary steam that was originally to be discarded is fully utilized, latent heat is recovered, thermal efficiency is improved, and external heating and cooling are reduced. The need for circulating water greatly reduces energy consumption and reduces pollution.
